World Youth Skills Day runs on the 15th July every year. It is an initiative by the UN to help drive the conversation between young people and the organisations that provide education and training, and the organisations that employ young people. The UN recognised that further work is needed on the provision of skills for the future.

For World Youth Skills Day we are offering you the chance to win mentoring sessions with one of the Change Agents Team. These sessions are for you to use as you wish; maybe you want more information on which skills you need to develop, or help writing your CV, whatever your quandary we are here to help. To win you need to answer two simple questions.

What would you like to get from the mentoring sessions?
The Prize
2 x 1hr mentoring sessions with one of our team. There are two sets of prizes; one for age 14-19 and one for ages 20-24. You must use the first session within 1 month of hearing you’re a winner, the second session we recommend you use after a further 2-4 months but this is up to you and your goals. The prize is non-transferrable and there is no cash alternative. Mentoring is a supportive relationship and although we can advise and offer options you are responsible for the choices you make moving on from any mentoring you receive.
How we will choose a winner
After the closing date of the 15th July 2023 we will collect all entries for both age ranges and select a winner from both based on the responses to BOTH questions. We would like to see a commitment to learning and development with an eye on the future and sustainability. The answer to the first question around sustainability skills does not need to be correct but we are looking for a reasoned answer, get creative!
The Winner will be notified by email on Tuesday 18th July 2023.
