I am a regenerative business designer, bookseller and rebel economist on a journey to understand my place in the great system of life.

I specialise in the application of Doughnut Economics to businesses, particularly through creating an emotional connection with this moment, to support change that comes from the heart not just the head.

I am currently working as ‘source’ for a project called pivot, which hopes to establish a people powered fund to transform businesses to regenerative and redistributive practices by investing to change their governance, ownership, financing and purpose. This work led the Doughnut Economics Team to, very kindly, call me a thought leader in this space.

It’s a crazy idea, but I refuse to accept that it’s easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism. And, whilst I do fear we are on the brink of a systems collapse, I think there is a lot of learning to do in this time of apparent abundance that will serve us well in future, whether or not we are able manage a stable transition.

I also work as a consultant, facilitator and public speaker on regenerative design and Doughnut Economics, and run a monthly book subscription, Adventurous Ink, which helps people reconnect with themselves and nature – not that we are separate, but we have to meet people where they are.

And sometimes I tell stories too.

You can find me on LinkedIn if you’d like to connect.
