Excited to meet you all and to be part of this group. My name is Nadine and I have a passion for living adventurously, creating, thriving in community and to give back.

When I grew up, I wanted to be the female version of Indiana Jones; adventure, knowledge and supporting a good cause. Well, if you look at my resume, I have definitely adventured across different fields trying to find the one branch that would ‘make me happy’. The closest moment was when literally being out and about venturing across countries, moving, meeting & learning from people and to raise money to give back to the beautiful nature that is giving me so much.

It took a bit of time, exploring and realising that it’s not about the ‘what I do’ but the value and passion it carries. Such as:

  • innovating ideas that make a difference
  • supporting something bigger than myself
  • creating connections to leverage the mission and vision of others around sustainability, community, artisanal food and community
  • being my own responsible human inside / out
  • honoring & giving back to nature
  • writing, food, people, moving & to literally adventure and explore

What does that look like on the outside?

At the moment I’ve got a day job as a consultant with a tech company in the field of business education supporting people from all walks of life to upskill themselves and help streamlining the operations of the team. I love to talk, make them feel at ease and help make things run smoothly and effectively.

On the side I would have my fingers in many pies supporting a number of start-ups in the field of health, community and food whilst co-founded a mobile pizza start-up to follow my passion of food & the education around it.

To bring my desire for adventure, food and people more to life I am currently exploring the following:

  • supporting small business with strategy, partnerships and clarity in the area of sustainability, zero-plastic, artisanal food & community-purpose led.
  • to contribute to magazines in the same arena and maybe consider publishing my second book (The Adventure of Being Human)
  • create a food company to connect people to artisanal food, tradition, implementing a scheme to give back to support the community

What I would wish for myself: to translate ideas into actions and let them see make a positive difference out there.

I look forward to play with a group of like minded and meet you all in person.
