We are now a significant movement, all working towards protecting the living world, tackling climate breakdown and building more caring and equal communities.

My heart has always been with nature. Entranced as a child, I carried this and grew myself into a career of horticulture, then sustainability practice, activism and art. My professional life has focussed around working with people and organisations, from local to national level, complex entities to simple groups, engaging different audiences and supporting action towards a sustainable future.

FuturEcoLogic is the vehicle for much of this work, functioning as a consultancy and often a conduit to support my activism and volunteering roles. In the face of huge, global challenges, I work collectively and stubbornly to motivate positive change and action. From Climate Change Cake Stalls, art exhibitions and theatre, to leading strategic projects, Board-level to street-level, I am happy when working on this agenda in any capacity.

My family and I have recently moved to Portugal to pursue dreams of living more harmoniously with nature, learning permaculture and experiencing all the other challenges and opportunities this brings. As we settle here, I continue my voluntary roles in the UK and have changed my business model to include creating Patron-supported learning content, which is freely available to all.

I write this surrounded by chirruping grasshoppers and twittering birds, listening to my young daughters laughing as they play in nature. How lucky I feel! Many friends, professionals and individuals also understand this simplicity and connectedness. The energy and hope created by these good folks help me stay focussed and strong.

We are now a significant movement, all working towards protecting the living world, tackling climate breakdown and building more caring and equal communities. Huge numbers of people are leading and supporting change within their communities, many are learning to value differently our everyday world. Collectively, we can continue to open peoples’ hearts, bringing along their minds, and helping them find new ways of working and approaching life. I look forward to working with those within ASP and beyond as we continue to protect our beautiful, precious planet.
