As the first step in our journey to discover and define what ASP will become
all members are invited to celebrate ASP’s 20th birthday.
This is also an invitation to share what you appreciate and value about ASP today
– a creative inquiry to ensure that ASP continues evolving emergently while retaining a form that supports us now and serves the future we hope for.
Activities:
You’ll hear from one of the founders, Mike Zeidler, what their “why” was for creating ASP; what their needs were, what they stood for. How has it evolved since then and how has the ASP-dna served this evolution, while allowing what needs to emerge to do so. This is our foundation and heritage.
You’ll get to discover, use, feel and sense the power of 3 Horizons, the over-arching framework that will help steer our course and guide us while we discover, through your input, over the next 5-6 months, what it is that you need and want the ASP Community to become.
And you’ll be invited to use your creative streak to articulate and celebrate what aspects of ASP you hold dear, what it means to you now, and what you’d like to see carried forward as we evolve together.
Facilitators:
I am a regenerative business designer, bookseller and rebel economist on a journey to understand my place in the great system of life.
I specialise in the application of 3 Horizons and Doughnut Economics particularly through creating an emotional connection with this moment, to support change that comes from the heart not just the head.
I was the catalyst for ASP in 2004 when, as a trustee of the New Academy of Business, I was commissioned to explore its future. I synthesised the feedback from all the stakeholders into the proposal that became ASP, and became the coordinator, forming the company and leading the development of the emerging form. I was a director and chairman from day one until May 2021.
