Lou is a regenerative sustainability Educator, Trainer and Artivist devoted to restoring the wild heart of Mother Earth. Her magic manifesto is to build back biodiversity closer to levels of the Holocene.
With decades of experience in sales, and sustainability, leading ESG strategy within global tech firms—including Dell Technologies, Salesforce, Intel, and Apple— she brings a passionate fusion of corporate acumen and ecological reverence to her work. A former ESG Senior Advisor and Sustainability Lead for the Asia Pacific, Japan, and China region, this experience is channelled into fostering living systems thinking and nature-connected leadership.
With a BSc in Chemistry, Lou is a curious researcher of Earth Systems Science. The tendency of falling down rabbit holes, has recently taken her into deeper study including Regenerative Economics with John Fullerton, The Systems View of Life with Fritjof Capra, (re)Biz with Ra, Regenerative Practice with RegenIntel, SWoN with Alice Kalro, and Thriving with Wayne Visser. Currently undertaking an MSc in Sustainability and Environmental Science, Lou sees the vision of bringing the conversation of biodiversity to the boardroom—her “Big Hairy Audacious Goal”: to secure Nature’s rightful seat on every board.
A mission to weave nature’s wisdom into strategic decision-making, helping organizations evolve toward the Symbiocene—the coming era of mutual flourishing between humans and the more-than-human world. She loves the Council of all Beings workshops, championed by Joanna Macy and John Seed. Favorite dinner guests would include Nora Bateson, John Fullerton, Bayo Akomolafe, Daniel Schmachtenberger, Nate Hagens, Vandana Shiva, David Abram, and Clover Hogan. A Divine Dinner in heaven would be with Joanna Macy, Jane Goodall, Aldo Leopold, Lynn Margulis and James Lovelock.Â
Known as Lulu La Loba, she embodies the wild mythical spirit of the wolf-woman, restorer of life. Wolves, as keystone species, are both her teachers and symbols of her calling: to co-create conditions conducive to life. Her advocacy extends into creative expressions through “WolfWords,” a developing platform giving voice to animals and amplifying calls for coexistence.
As a long-time volunteer in Australia, Lou has supported several global conservation movements such as The Orangutan Project, plus international climate & biodiversity rallies, including Fridays for Future, & The Big One in London. She is a kindness volunteer coach to Indigenous leaders, and refugees, and mentor to university students. She remains committed to wildlife protection and rainforest preservation across the Amazon & the Leuser Ecosystem, the last place on earth where orangutans, elephants, rhinos, and tigers coexist.
Having interviewed Jane Goodall for Earth Day 2022, Lou finds inspiration in voices that bridge empathy, Indigenous wisdom and science. She is a mother to Jasmine and guardian of Teddy, the wolf-dog, border collie—treasured companions in exploring the world’s natural wonders. Her daily photo-art in the hills of the marshes, serves to stay in the re-enchantment, awe and wonder of the natural world.
Guided by love for wolves, wildlife, mountains, and music, Lou lives in service to Mother Earth—helping awaken the remembering that life itself is sacred.
