SOStainability is hosting SPARC Staffordshire to engage stakeholders in business, government, non-profit, and the academic community in reflecting on Staffordshire’s sustainability journey as a place.
The in-person event is being organised as part of the London Climate Action Week (LCAW), which will be held from June 21st to 29th in London, different cities in the UK, and worldwide.
Expected outcomes include a shared understanding of the net-zero journey of Staffordshire, encompassing the achievements and challenges encountered, along with the expressed commitment of stakeholders to enhance their sustainability ambitions, targets, and implementation.
Speakers include Emma Baines, Regional Hub Manager (West Midlands) of the Climate Ambassadors Scheme, JAS Bahra of AMW Renewables, and Oke Epia, Director of SOStainability.
Participants will be taken on a tour of the Horwood Energy Centre at Keele University to gain inspiration.
The event will take place on 26 June 2025, at the Innovation Centre 6, Denise Coates Foundation Building, Keele University, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Although this is a FREE event, registration is required using the link: SPARC Staffordshire – Sostainability. Parking information will be communicated to all confirmed participants.
