as a Freelance Sustainability Consultant, I focus on integrating environmental goals into event strategies, specialising in stakeholder engagement and communication, policy writing, and strategy development.

My career began in marketing, first at Spotify and then at Twitter. Over 13 years, I honed my skills in managing cross-functional teams, delivering major events, and leading large-scale media campaigns. These foundational experiences in strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and communication were instrumental in catalysing my transition to the sustainability sector.

In the past three years, I have transitioned to sustainability consulting, beginning with my role at isla. There, I supported clients such as Indeed and Ascential in reducing the environmental impacts of their events. My responsibilities included carbon footprint reporting, designing tailored services to enhance stakeholder engagement, and developing effective communication strategies. At isla, I also initiated a lecture series that brought external experts to discuss relevant sustainability topics with our members and managed event programming, including end-to-end management of the isla stage programme at Event Sustainability Live.

Now, as a Freelance Sustainability Consultant, I focus on integrating environmental goals into event strategies, specialising in stakeholder engagement and communication, policy writing, and strategy development. My projects often involve designing and facilitating interactive educational workshops, including sessions aimed at combating greenwashing and empowering employees to confidently advocate for their sustainability initiatives. I pride myself in my ability to demystify complex topics and supporting my clients with practical and actionable advice.

Like many other ASP members, I am driven by a passion for systems change. I’m particularly interested in the food sector where some of the methods used to grow our food are making current cropland unfarmable. I am keen to learn more and gain hands-on experience in this critical area. If you need some support, please do reach out.

I’m based in Bournemouth and always eager for a coffee and conversation with like-minded individuals. Alongside my consultancy work, I would love to get more involved in Dorset-based community groups and contribute to local sustainability efforts.

I look forward to collaborating with ASP members and being part of the community.
