For those with an interest in Wellbeing Economics, the Centre for Thriving Places has just issued a discussion paper that looks at the most advanced models, dashboards and indices in the field to help people understand how and where they fit together.
It examines the Thriving Places Index, SEED and Doughnut models in detail, and analyses the primary Welsh, Scottish and UK dashboards alongside the SDG’s and OECD Better Life Index.
The common themes, headlines and ingredients are clearly shown, and models are collated in summary, making them easier to compare. Four short case studies show how collaboration with a mix of tools and models is accelerating the shift to Wellbeing Economics at local, regional, national and international levels.
