As a Research Psychologist and coach, I am fascinated by how we support our resilience during times of transition, challenge, and change; in a sense it is ‘human sustainability’.
I work with sustainability professionals to help them purposefully thrive as they create change in the world. I work with clients across the following areas, and the interplay between each in their professional lives:
- Personal Resilience – how individuals can thrive by aligning their wellbeing and performance to build sustainable resilience; understanding their purpose and values to find their unique role in addressing sustainability; recognising and harnessing difficult emotions; overcoming internalised critics, saboteurs, and voices of doubt to increase confidence and impact; maintaining personal resilience when working with people with very different agendas.
- Relational Resilience – establishing the relationships necessary to achieve change; using coaching principles to navigate conflict and manage competing agendas, bridge interpersonal divides, and bring people along as collaborators on the journey of change.
- Resilient Systems – creating systemic change in response to the climate crisis, changing systems to become more sustainable; changing the paradigms of human-nature relations that we collectively live and work by
- Aligning all of these to help us live ‘in right relationship’ with our beautiful planet
