I’m an experienced IT leader, and my work has focused on bringing technology closer to real human needs, simplifying complex processes, strengthening governance and risk practices, and building teams that collaborate well, deliver well, and enjoy working together. Over the years, I’ve worked across strategy, delivery, governance, risk, and compliance, always drawn to making complex systems simpler, kinder, and more human.

Right now, my practice looks different. I’ve stepped away from meeting rooms and into the world, travelling slowly with my husband and our two children. We’re learning through place, culture, and lived experience, paying attention to how communities organise themselves, how systems support or strain people, and what sustainability looks like on the ground rather than on paper.

This chapter is about listening more than pushing, noticing patterns, and letting new questions emerge. It’s reshaping how I think about leadership, technology, responsibility, and what “enough” really means.

I’m drawn to thoughtful, generous conversations, to systems that serve life rather than consume it, and to ways of working rooted in care, clarity, and long-term thinking.
