Over the last few months, alongside the 3H process, we have been reviewing ASP’s Educational and Events strategy and offerings, with our core team of Theresa Sansome, Sam Crosby, and Julia Sansome. We wanted to see if we could bring more nuance and form to them in a way that hopefully is even more generative and responsive to members’ needs, and that truly serves our community.
We’re now looking to gather your feedback before finalising and implementing this. We’ve completed the first draft of our proposal and shared it with all of our members for your input. We want to make sure that as many voices are heard as possible around this – nothing is too small to suggest or muse on!
We’re proposing to organise ASP’s events into four streams – Expanding the Possible, Skill Development & Wholeness, Testing, Translating and Embodying, and Community Weaving – underpinned by what we’re calling the Murmuration Principle.
Every event would close with the same two questions: What is shifting? What is the invitation? The aim is to build a real culture of reflection and action across our community, not just attendance.
Who we are becoming:
ASP is moving into its ‘adulthood’. We’re moving from being a collection of individual changemakers into something more powerful: a change-making community. That change in language potentially changes how we design everything we do.
As with many other aspects of ASP, this is an emergent process and nothing is truly set in stone yet, but with everyone we want ASP to have a felt identity in the world – something people sense before they can quite name it. We’re calling this sense a “rumour”: a reputation that travels ahead of us, rooted in genuine impact.
