With a profound eye for capturing the essence of moments, I initiated my professional journey as a photographer in 2012, immersing myself in the world of dance photography. For over eight years, I honed my craft as a commercial freelance photographer, boasting an impressive clientele that includes corporate giants such as the European Commission, European Parliament, Aviva Investors, Muller, AXA, and EA Sports.
Beyond the corporate sphere, I ventured into diverse landscapes, documenting refugee communities, celebrity circles, and corporate boardrooms with a remarkable talent for documentary-style photography. My first exhibition, funded by Munich City Council and the European Commission in 2016, focused on refugee life in Munich and set the stage for two subsequent exhibitions and further collaborations with refugee schools and institutions supporting disadvantaged children.
In 2016, I seamlessly transitioned into the world of film, bringing my expertise to companies across Europe and capturing the narratives of real estate through conventional and aerial perspectives. Achieving a significant milestone, I qualified as a drone pilot in both the UK and Germany, adding a new dimension to my visual storytelling.
Having made the transition from Germany to the UK in 2020, my dedication to the art of storytelling endured. My passion found a renewed outlet in the documentary realm, where I strive to capture the profound emotional impact of people’s life experiences on film. Co-founding BlackStar Pictures with my colleague Tom, we actively collaborate with select clients committed to creating a positive impact on the world. Working closely with communities and non-profit organizations, I employ my videography skills to amplify their messages and influence. Notably, I was commissioned to document the work of the prolific contemporary artist, Hugo Grenville, represented by the esteemed Findlay Galleries in the USA.
