Money: Friend or Foe? Mini-series of Online Workshops. February 27th, March 5th & 12th. 19:00-21:00 (UK)

Join us for a mini-series of 3 x 2-hour online workshops on creative perspectives that honour both SUSTAINABILITY and FINANCE.

If money could do better for you, what would you have money do?

What difference would that make in your world?

What would you get to do and who would you get to be?

Our personal and collective experiences tend to shape our expectations and point of view on money, and it can take deliberate creative effort to step beyond the well-worn groove.

The Human Side of Money

When we talk about money, we often leave out the human side of money that affects us at least as powerfully as the technical side:

– What we’re willing to do for money.

– What we feel money is willing to do for us.

– Where the gap is, and how you can start to create new options for moving closer to what you want to see happen.

How can sustainability and finance come together in a wholesome way in your practice.

Who is this session for?

This mini-series of 3 x online workshops is specially commissioned for ASP members (and guests) who want to explore the tensions between practising sustainability and generating sufficient income, and how we can engage with money in fruitful and generative ways.

Together, we’ll cover…

What will you get from this series?

You will need:

Bring your challenges and concerns so the conversation can be directly and specifically relevant to where you’re at and what you need and want to happen next.

Please note: This event aims to create an inclusive and respectful environment for all participants. We encourage attendees to embrace diversity, share experiences, and engage in constructive dialogue.

Session 1, February 27th

In this session, we will be looking at how money has been showing up in your life so far, and what you would like to be experiencing with money instead.

Before you think about how something might be possible, it’s helpful to get at the shape of what you’d like to have more of. This task can sound simple but is often far from easy, because it asks us to weave together our many wishes and perspectives into one integrated whole.

This first session will also begin to take a peek at how you could ease beyond the familiar ‘rules of money’ and open up space for more creative and life-affirming options.
