ASP is supporting The Creative & Cultural Organisation, Koru Consulting and KlimateKonnect (see ALLIANCES) who are creating this first Humber Eco Fest. The intent is that it is the first of a series of annual celebrations of all the local community activities to create an inspiring future for the residents and be a positive example for other regions in the UK and beyond.
All the events are organised by local people and organisations spanning every aspect of society, covering every aspect of sustainable and regenerative communities and the environment. The festivals will serve to connect all parts of the region geographically and socially: people, local governments, education and commerce in a celebration of current positive action and inspire a united approach to the unique challenges they face and the broader global challenges.
Creative & Cultural, Koru Consulting and Alan Raw (Hull born and bred, ASP Director, and Sustainability Director at Koru Consulting) are leading this ambitious initiative. ASP are supporting this team and our members will be invited to co-create with Humber residents a number of live and online events throughout the 3 week period.
To find out more about the Eco Fest come along to the ASP 2023 AGM – “Thriving”. 21st July 16:00-17:30 (UK) online where Alan will discuss the developing model, plans and aspirations.
More details will be communicated over the coming months. In the meantime visit: creativeandcultural.co.uk for further information.
