At the beginning of April, we were joined by Victoria Hurth, an independent ‘pracademic’ who has been on a very specific purpose-driven journey throughout her life to work out why people make decisions in society, governance, and life, that are misaligned with high levels of well-being. In this event, Victoria explored how we can choose how consciously we govern, working to align with collective long-term wellbeing.

In conversation with Dr Victoria Hurth, co-author of Beyond Profit: Purpose-Driven Leadership for a Wellbeing Economy.
Victoria discussed her central role in creating ISO 37000, the first international standard on the governance of organizations, and the forthcoming ISO 37011, which will provide a specific framework for purpose-driven organizations. She called for a shift beyond the current system (‘Logic One’) which is driven by short-term financial interest, and instead working towards individual and systemic change by being actively curious and caring.
