As we enter an era of unprecedented environmental, social and economic change, Black Mountains College is organising a free online event in which a diverse range of professionals discuss how climate change might affect the future of their sector, and how young people can plan for their career.
This is notably not a ‘green’ careers fair discussing jobs specifically in the environmental sector. This careers event explores how the climate and ecological emergency is going to affect all jobs in all sectors; and what skills young people need in order to navigate these changes.
After keynotes of young climate activist Scarlett Westbrook and Welsh Climate Minister Julie James, participants will be able to choose to attend one of the following break-outs, exploring the Future of:
Education
Art
Construction & Architecture
Healthcare
Finance
Writing & Journalism
Law & Justice
Energy
Food & Agriculture
Water
Politics
Energy
Engineering
Each break-out will be led by professionals from across the globe.
