I’m Clare Morris, and I believe business can, and must, be a force for good.
As a business coach, community curator, and founder of Conscious Entrepreneurs, I support small business owners and sole traders to grow with clarity, care, and impact at the centre of everything they do.
My work is rooted in the understanding that sustainable business starts with people. How we think, how we make decisions, and how we lead. Through my coaching business, Focus & Growth, I work 1:1 and in small groups to help values-led business owners define their purpose, refine their strategy, and align their day-to-day actions with the wider impact they want to have in the world. It’s a blend of mindset support, ethical business strategy, and regenerative thinking. Because I believe if you’re not okay, your business isn’t either.
Alongside this, I lead Conscious Entrepreneurs, a membership and movement for small business owners who care deeply about the mental, social, and environmental health of their work. We offer peer support, accessible resources, and honest conversations about the challenges of building a business that puts people and planet first. From gentle networking to productive co-working sessions and wellbeing-focused workshops, everything we do is designed to help people belong, not just fit in.
My background spans charity support, project management, and entrepreneurship. Over the years, I’ve seen how easy it is for purpose-led people to burn out, lose direction, or feel isolated. Especially when working alone. My coaching and community work are both responses to that: I want people to feel supported, seen, and equipped to build businesses that genuinely reflect their values.
I bring to the Association of Sustainability Practitioners (ASP) a grassroots lens on ethical business. Working not with corporations or policy-makers, but with the everyday change-makers carving out a new way to do business in their own small corner of the world. Many of my clients and members are operating outside traditional growth models, yet they’re deeply committed to sustainability in how they source, produce, price, hire, and communicate.
Joining ASP is a step toward deeper collaboration and shared learning. I’m particularly interested in how we can nurture more sustainable decision-making in the early stages of business and how we support those who don’t yet see themselves as “sustainability practitioners,” but whose work is already shaping a more just and regenerative future.
I believe in small steps that lead to big change, and that sustainability doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. I’m looking forward to learning from others in this network and contributing my perspective from the ground up.
