My work addresses critical gaps in current nutrition education and supports teachers with resources and training to build food literacy from an early age.

I’m the founder of the Nutrition Advisory Team, an independent initiative pioneering a new model of food systems education in schools: Nutri-Kit.

A former primary headteacher with a Master’s in Nutrition and Behaviour, I combine educational leadership with expertise in child nutrition and systems thinking. My mission is to embed food systems, health, and sustainability into the heart of education—not as an add-on, but as a foundation for lifelong health and learning. My desire is to impact positively on population and planet health – playing a small part in the solutions.

Through Nutri-Kit, my curriculum-aligned toolkit, I aim to equip schools to teach children about food in a way that connects health, behaviour, the environment, and society. My work addresses critical gaps in current nutrition education and supports teachers with resources and training to build food literacy from an early age.

My approach is aligned with international priorities and is helping schools reimagine how they support children’s wellbeing through a whole school approach to food.
