CEO/Curator at The Creative & Cultural Organisation, home of Hull Climate Emergency Centre and Hull CEC Permaculture Garden, repurposing closed shops and unloved spaces to provide studio/exhibition/workshop/growing space for creatives and meeting the needs of the community, creating exhibitions, places to meet, educating, growing organic food with the community and promoting bio/diversity. 

Chief Sustainability Officer at Pan Galactic Developments Ltd. A sustainability award-winning SME registered with the European Space Agency and a member of ECSECO the European Centre for Space Economy and Commerce. Developing carbon-negative blockchain validation solutions, Web3, NFTs, and the Fund Green Tech project, based at C4DI Hull. 

Worked in community & youth services including being Countryside Leader CLA & DofE Awards Coordinator/outdoor activities supervisor/trainer, now using those skills for sustainability work. 

Former Chair of FEAST Food Education And Social Transformation.

Trained with David Grove in Clean Space, Clean Coaching and Emergent Knowledge facilitation.

Art curator, collector, facilitator and gallerist at PhotoCity London, Hull International Photography Festival (HIPfest) & worked on over 100 exhibitions. 

An experienced researcher &  journalist, social enterprise director, creative industries adviser, educator and builder of high-value international partnerships, including successful partnerships with European Capitals of Culture, Aarhus, Pathos & San Sebastian, developing exhibitions for their city celebrations & Hull UK City of Culture. 

Started coding in the 90s, worked on early streaming digital television for independent companies and BBC on the Red Button’s first on-demand content. Received a BBC Gillard Award for interactive radio in 2002. Early adopter in blockchain tech & a Communications & Media Tech Tutor for a few years for BBC Learn Xpress, The WEA, JobCentre Plus & Colleges, empowering people to access creative technology to elevate their employment opportunities. 

Member of The Coders Guild & STEM Learning Ambassadors.
