Ian Shenton has worked in the print industry for over 20 years and has seen it change drastically in light of the climate crisis. He aims to be a leader in green printing as a business owner with a rising interest in sustainable solutions and methods. Sustainably sourcing raw materials from companies with sound environmental credentials creates a complete eco-friendly supply chain from start to finish for his printing businesses. This is done with the intention of significantly reducing production waste and damage to the world’s forests as a green thinking, green printing initiative.

Aspenprint and BCP Media Group are proud to be part of the Association of Sustainability Practitioners and are excited to work in partnership to reduce waste, increase awareness and generally be more resourceful in protecting our planet by using more sustainable products and methods.

We believe we are an industry leader in green thinking and green printing with a wide range of biodegradable and recyclable printing options. We are committed to using eco-friendly processes and materials to minimise our impact on the environment. We do this by using FSC certified paper, vegetable based printing inks and biodegradable lamination and foils.

Without industries and corporations changing their methods and approaches towards their environmental impact, there isn’t much hope for reversing our climate crisis. The Association of Sustainability Practitioners allows for open discussion and sharing of practices and ideas between businesses to collectively make a difference wherever possible. At Aspenprint and BCP Media Group we are keen to develop our eco-friendly practices and join a community of like-minded businesses and individuals.

Continually evaluating and improving our practices is important for us as a business to be the very best we can be. We promise to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill, to conserve finite resources and to reduce our environmental impact. Wherever possible, we look to source raw materials, products and services from companies with sound environmental credentials. Aspenprint is also keen on going green – for every tree used for paper, two more are planted in its place.
