Ken is a major contributor to the development and communication of the ideas surrounding the circular economy. The Ellen MacArthur Foundation was established with the aim of accelerating the transition to a circular economy, working with global business, government and academia to build a framework that is restorative and regenerative by design.

 

Josh Fothergill – Policy Lead, Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment – IEMA
Integrating the Circular Economy in organisations, based on Josh’ experiences developing the forthcoming standard BS8001, due to launch in May. Josh will share how the CE agenda can be progressed by those organisations operating an ISO14001 compliant EMS.

 

Philip Duddell – Director Sustainable Procurement Limited
Philip has provided support on public and private contracts valued in excess of £3 billion, trained hundreds of procurers and suppliers and developed tools and guidance used by clients. Procurement is an important enabling mechanism to achieve an organisation’s intended outcomes.

 

 

Jason Light – Strategy Lead, Environment, Eastleigh Borough Council
Jason steers their ambitions of the environment portfolio tackling issues such as air quality, sustainable transport, parking, waste management, energy, biodiversity, environmental compliance and other aspects of sustainability. He will discuss tackling waste by taking a different approach to what comes into your facility.

 

Jonathan Lodge – CEO / Founder, City Farm Systems
City Farm Systems produce the most commercially viable and sustainable facilities for the growing of the most perishable and hardest to transport fresh produce. The way they do so will make for a highly interesting presentation.
